So what is BAXX ?
Baxx is a patented device that treats the air to continually kill harmful bacteria, virus, mould and fungus.
Does it require a solution or some type of perishable supply to work?
No. The Baxx runs on electricity only. It contains a small motor and electronics, but draws little power. The motor is especially built for wet or difficult ambient conditions and is internationally guaranteed for 3 years (based on continuous 24/7/365 use).
Does it kill flys and insects?
No. It is designed to continually kill microscopic bacteria and virus’?s as well as inhibit fungus growth.
So - it will kill any virus or bacteria carried and left by insects, but not insects themselves.
How does it do that?
Basically, water molecules as part of the natural moisture in the air are drawn through the Baxx cold plasma field and converted to Hydroxyl clusters - put simply, they lose a Hydrogen atom and become unbalanced. As they float freely in the air and come into contact with Bacteria cells, they attach to the cell wall and disrupt its metabolism by depriving the cell of its own Hydrogen atom - thereby killing it instantly. The cluster regains its missing Hydrogen atom and returns to being a water molecule.
These Hydroxyl Clusters exist in nature. Louise Pasteur first realised their existence some hundred years ago after observing that high altitude and sunny days reduced the incidence of infection and naturally killed bacteria.
During the 1960’?s and 1970’?s, the MOD advanced the research whilst looking for ways to combat GermWarefare on the British Isles. The value and production of Hydroxyl Clusters was confirmed, but science and technology could not produce them by a small or mobile generator.
Modern technology allows Baxx to harness these Hydroxyl Clusters and bring the outdoors indoors.
Is this radiation?
No. It is water molecules naturally in the air, stripped of a hydrogen atom which causes them to actively seek out bacteria and virus cells so as to restore their balance by robbing the bacteria cells of their hydrogen atom.
The result of the bacteria cell walls losing those atom is the rupture of its cell wall and its disintegration.
Why isn’?t this harmful to humans?
Such clusters and beneficial free radicals exist in nature anyway. ? The hydroxyl clusters cannot penetrate surfaces - they can only go where air can get to and cannot pass through skin or any “?first layer”?. This is why they are very effective over food preparation areas, food service areas, and in packing rooms where they reduce or eliminate airborne bacteria and virus being packed inside the packaging with the product.
They will kill bacteria and virus from exposed skin and airborne contamination so the bacteria is not passed to product, but cannot penetrate skin or the product surface itself. Our bodies as multi-celled organisms are designed to ignore nature’?s Hydroxyls.
Hydroxyl clusters breathed in will certainly still kill bacteria in the lungs and respiratory tract, but when doing so are turned back to natural water molecules (humidity) and do not penetrate lung tissue or enter the blood stream.
Does this also work on such things as colds and flu?
Yes. The Baxx is beneficial to preventing colds and flu as it attacks all bacteria and virus strains including influenza and other bacteria that would cause respiratory tract infections - including swine flu and bird flu.
It is not a cure for colds and flu but a deterrent to the spread of any influenza.
Baxx kills Bird Flu virus, H5N1 and H5N2, Swine Flu virus H1N1 and kills the Foot & Mouth virus as well as Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Campylobacter, lIsteria Mono Cytogenses, Pseudonas and Aspergillus Niger.
It was very effective in halting the spread of the SARS virus in Singapore.
So can we reduce cleaning using Baxx?
This is a new method of Airborne Pathogen Control, Surface Decontamination and Sanitising.
However, it also needs to be made clear that this is not a replacement for normal cleaning & hygiene practices - it is an effective supplementary system.
Is the Baxx unit comparable to HEPA filters and UV treatment?
The Baxx is equivalent to these methods of germ control, but superior in performance across a much wider spectrum. It is more efficient and does not require filter changes or any perishable replacement of any kind other than an electrical supply.
UV diminishes its effect in higher humidity areas while the Baxx thrives. UV requires the room air to be collected and funnelled through a treatment chamber while the Baxx distributes its effect out across a wide area and is carried by air currents - the same currents that are carrying and depositing the bacteria and virus cells.
So what is the electrical demand?
120 watts - the equivalent of two 60watt light globes at less than $50 per year run continuously on 24/7.
How are these Baxx units to be mounted?
They can be mounted in any way suitable to the room. Many food processing plants hang them from the ceilings, but they can be mounted horizontally high on a wall as well.
